his discoveries."
"We must act fast then, what do we have in the area ?"

Challenger Expedition to Krakatoa next month. We can divert it
immediately."
"Excellent, we will use Challenger as a cover to occupation."
East Indian Sea, 1889:
"Captain, we are coming up on the Island now"
"Very good, let Lieutenant Harding and his men know"
"Sir, there's something on the beach, its a flag, Sir."

Rescue from Facility 23 (Zombie Smackdown Part 1) |
FMA Skirmish |
Damond Walker |
4-6 |
Description |
Complexity: Introductory
The captain hung up the phone and turned grim-faced to his men. "As you
know, something's gone horribly wrong at Facility 23. From what little
information we have, it seems most of the staff have been infected by an
experimental brain-altering nanovirus. Although the virus is not
airborne, it is highly contagious and 100% fatal. You are to enter the
facility, retrieve what data you can, and locate and rescue Dr. Franklin
and any of his team still alive. Everyone else is expendable. Now move
out!"
Dr. Franklin sat back down, sweat beading on his brow. The moaning coming
from out in the hall was incessant, and had already worn down his nerves
-- as if a shuffling horde of his dead former co-workers eager to tear him
limb from limb wasn't already enough. He glanced at the other survivors
huddled together in the lab, looked into their frightened faces, and hoped
help would arrive in time.
The Grey paused and did an area scan. It reached out with its mind and
contacted the others. Human soldiers were arriving; they would have to be
dealt with for the experiment to proceed to completion.
First of two thematically related scenarios. You do not have to sign up
for both to play in one. Beginners welcome.
