1976 Rhodesia. There has been a report of some trouble at the Clarke Farm. The boys at the farm
found 4 dead cattle this morning. The BSAP (British South Africa Police) are taking this seriously
and have dispatched several teams to investigate what is likely an intentional arsenic poisoning
by local terrorists. Special Branch has their suspicions that this is more than some dead
livestock and a missing worker.

After a period of relatively boring quiet (i.e., "peace"), the Lyrans and the Kzinti rekindled their
love of trading phaser fire and other weapons of general destruction. Then the Klingons joined
the Lyrans against the Kzinti. Then the Hydrans attacked the Lyrans. Then the Klingons attack
the Hydrans. Worlds burned and spaceships flamed. The Klingons suddenly get a wild hair and
decide this would be an awesome time to invite the Federation to the party, but the Organians
step in and say "Denied!" Then the Organians inexplicably disappear. With the Organ Block
gone, the Klingons carry on with their original anti-Federation plan. Unleashed, the Federation
smashes the Klingon offensive forces, so the Klingons entice the Romulans to also join in the
fun, putting the Federation in a two-front war as well ("you get a two-front war.you get a two-
front war.you get a two-front war.everybody gets a two-front war!"). Not to be left out in the
cold, the Gorn then ally with the Federation and gleefully attack the Romulans (only a one-front
war for them!). With space and ground battles raging in systems across this portion of the
galaxy, the First General War is in full swing!
Not far from Starbase 24, the Klingons maneuver to take the Federation system of Ramatis. The
Federation feels this is not in the best interest of the Ramatisians and move to intervene. Who
will win the day?

The Second Hidden War began in 2725, pitting the Federated Suns and the Draconis Combine at
each other's throats, while the Star League Defense Force stood by, prevented from interfering.
After 4 years of brutal war, when Prince Joseph Davion was slaughtered in battle on Royal, all
hope seemed lost for House Davion. The tattered remnants of the Armed Forces of the
Federated Suns pulled out from Royal as well as four other star systems, opening them up for
Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery units to invade and take without contest, and granting an
opportunity for the Draconis Combine move on to claim the Davion throne.
That is, until the SLDF were released and showed up at the last minute, itching for a fight. Code
named Operation SMOTHER, no fewer than five full SLDF divisions appeared simultaneously
across the five overrun Davion systems, stunning the DCMS at the magnitude of the response.
Facing this, in some systems the DCMS immediately withdrew, but in others, such as on Royal,
the DCMS rallied to test the mettle of these newcomers.
As the SLDF's 160 th Sirius BattleMech Division began establishing a beachhead on Royal, Captain
Aleksandr Kerensky, highest ranking of the few surviving commanding officers of the 160 th (bad
things happened during the drop to the rest of the command staff), ordered B Company of the
1 st Battalion 3 rd Regiment, to scout out the nearby Bay City. Learning what they could of the
enemy's current arrangements, B Company began to extract itself from the city - only to find it
was cut off from the rest of the 160 th by elements of the 6 th Benjamin Regulars. Can they break
free and get their information back the 160 th , or will Bay City be their last stand?
